Karen Barnaby est la chef de cuisine du restaurant Fish House in Stanley Park, une chroniqueuse gastronomique pour le Vancouver Sun, et une professeure de cuisine r�put�e dans la grande r�gion de Vancouver. Avec neuf livres de cuisine � son actif, elle sait s�duire ses lecteurs avec son style d�contract� et convivial.
Karen est b�n�vole pour les cuisines communautaires de Vancouver et a pr�c�demment si�g� au conseil de la banque d�alimentation de la grande r�gion de Vancouver. Elle est membre et pr�sidente sortante de la section de Vancouver de l�organisation ��Les Dames d�Escoffier��.
Malgr� tous ses engagements, elle trouve quand m�me le temps de participer � nos soir�es. Sa chaudr�e de saumon, de cheddar et de ma�s est reconnue comme l�une des recettes pr�f�r�es de nos participants d�un bout � l�autre du pays.

Sheila a d�couvert l�existence de Soup Sisters en voyant un reportage t�l�vis� sur l�ouverture d�une nouvelle section � Toronto en mars 2010.
���a y est, j�ai trouv� l�OSBL que je cherchais!�� qu�elle s�est dit, et depuis ce temps, elle est devenue l�une de nos coordonnatrices et � pilot� l�ouverture de notre section de Vancouver en septembre 2010.
Elle se r�jouit de savoir que la soupe nourrissante que son groupe pr�pare tous les mois apporte un r�confort appr�ci� � des personnes vivant des situations difficiles.
En plus de ses responsabilit�s avec nous, Sheila a r�cemment mis sur pied un OSBL qui s�appelle Dancing 4 a Change afin de lutter contre la traite des personnes.
